The History of Harvard BLVD

After researching basic information on the house, I was able to do further research on the family who built the house.  This was all the history of previous owners I have been able to find so far.
The address is 2218 South Harvard BLVD CA 90018, and is referred to as the "Beckett Residence".  This is because Wesley Wilbur Beckett and his wife built the mansion in 1910 (some reports claim it was built in 1905).  Beckett or Dr. Beckett was a chairman of trustees on the LA County Medical Association.  He was also the medical director for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company.  On top of that be also raised money for USC School of Median; and donated large amounts himself.  When he died a Hall was named after him at the school called "Beckett Hall".
By 1940 Beckett was gone and the neighbor hood became known as "Sugar Hill".  It was a community of wealthy African American entertainers, however I have not yet found who lived in the house during this time or in the years after.  There were several renovations done on the house, I will create another post for those, but the last publicly documented group who lived in the house was the Veteran's Light House and Cultural Center.  They lived in the house until 1994. I don't know if they were there for the fire, but in 1981 there was a roof fire that burnt upstairs rooms, that were never repaired.
After what the outside of the house has been used for several music videos, but have had no real owners.  The house was bought after years of being empty by a privet owners for around 900,000, although it was valued at 1.1 million.  The new private owner has yet to do anything with the house, several sites said the owner was thinking about destroying the house; but I don't know if that's true.

Finding the house

I found a house as the subject of my study.  After emailing, and trying to contact numerous home owners around Ithaca, I decided to look online for a home.  After searching for a house for hours, I finally found a colonial revival/ neoclassical revival mansion in Los Angeles CA.  It had an interactive floor plan, with lots of photographs, and a basic history.
This house is listed as a "Los Angeles-Cultural Monument 117", although that does not come with much information.  The house is 5,415 square feet, with 6 bedrooms 4 bathrooms.  The address is 2218 South Harvard BLVD CA 90018, in southern LA, and has Colonial Revival architecture.
Pictures I found of the house along with what they rooms were used as-
